The era of healthcare using artificial intelligence (AI) and smart devices has begun. However, the barriers are high so that entry is possible only when market trends are recognized and technology is supported. The thing is that there are few start-ups that can jump into the market mobilizing these capabilities. In the meantime, there is a medical student who threw his hat in the ring into the healthcare market.

"While attending medical school, I learned that exercise has a tremendous impact on health and life expectancy," CEO Kim said. "I looked around for a system that kept people healthy by exercising, but I couldn't find any of them, I developed the system myself," CEO of FitMedi, Kim explained.

‘Fitble,’ developed by FitMedi is an app platform for exercise management healthcare based on game elements and is preparing to be released in December 2020. It focuses on anaerobic muscular exercise and includes a challenge function inducing competition among the app users.

The competitive edge of FitMedi lies in teamwork. "In marketing, director Park, who studied in the U.S., is helping us, and in development, there is a 20-year-old development team leader," CEO Kim said. "With design, we have an art director from Cheil Worldwide, the top company in Korea, and there is an analyst who has double majored in math and management in data analysis."

From now on, FitMedi aims to build a system that makes sick people healthy. “I hope that people have the habit of continuing to exercise through our app. I hope people have a habit of continuing to exercise through our app. People around the world will be able to 'have fun' and 'systematically' exercise so that everyone can become healthy," said Kim.
